- Identify patients who may be considered disabled for the purposes of the EA and what rights are afforded to them under the legislation.
- Understand the possible implications for patients of the EA legislation
- Identify which employers have duties under the EA
- Describe what might be considered as a reasonable adjustment for an employer to make under the Act
- Explain what protection exists for patients attempting to return to or remain in work who are disabled for the purposes of the EA
