• Consider how you might work with your practice team to raise awareness of the link between work and some conditions

You could also investigate what services you have locally that can support you with management, such as:

• Consultants in your area who have a specialist interest in occupational diseases
• Occupational health services offered by your local trusts or patients' employers

TIP: EMAS, the medical arm of the HSE, employs doctors and nurses who are a helpful source of advice for GPs and patients.
